What is the militia, and what is it's
purpose?

What is the militia, and what is its purpose?
The unorganized militia is defined by Article 1, Title 10,
US Code, Chapter 13, and Section 311. Which states, in
part, "...all able bodied males between the ages of 17 and
45." In essence we are all Militia, whether you like it or
not. The Founding Fathers sought to establish the militia
as a safeguard against tyranny in government.
Tyrannical governments fear an armed population. That
is why there are many in our government who restrict our
God given right to self defense; without our arms, the
Militia has no teeth. Today's Militia serves, not only as
a safeguard against tyranny, but also to help

Is the militia Anti-Government?

Absolutely not! We do not seek to overthrow, nor do we
advocate the overthrow of our constitutionally
guaranteed Republican form of government. The term
"anti-government" is just another one of the buzz words
that the "left-wing" controlled media uses to cast a dim
light on the Militia. What we are is
Anti-Socialist/Communist/Globalist.educate the
American public about their rights and responsibilities as
Citizens, and to help open their eyes to the tragic
disintegration of our Republic at the hands of those who
refuse to uphold their Oath to defend the Constitution for
United States of America

.How can I join the Militia?

You already are! The Militia is the whole body of the
people; therefore you already are in the militia. If you
would like to go one step further and actively train in the
skills required of the modern day Minuteman, you can
send an email to the unit commander, and he will quickly
respond with the required application.

Are you white supremacist?

We seem to be getting asked this one a lot lately. And
the answer is NO!!!! NO!!!! But we have always held the
belief that these misnomers are forced upon us by those
in the media and the government as a way to make the
population "disunited". Dis unification is the goal of
"political correctness", multiculturalism, and ethnic
diversity. Each of these liberal ideologies seeks to
separate "We the People" so that we may not stand
united against our "real" common enemies.
We are
Americans regardless of our ethnic backgrounds and that
is our unifying factor.
What did the Founding Fathers say
about protecting our Liberty and
Gun Rights?

What did our Found Fathers
say about Gun Control and
Protecting our Liberty
?

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm
only those who are neither inclined nor
determined to commit crimes... Such laws make
things worse for the assaulted and better for the
assailants; they serve rather to encourage than
to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may
be attacked with greater confidence than an
armed man.   Jefferson's "Commonplace
Book," 1774_1776, quoting from On Crimes and
Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria,
1764

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of
arms."

Thomas Jefferson, Proposed Virginia
Constitution, 1776, Jefferson Papers 344.

---------

Informed in Great Britain, the British
Parliament was advised by an artful man, who
was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the
people;that it was the best and most effectual
way to enslave them; but that they should not
do it openly, but weaken them, and let them
sink gradually

"Who are the militia, if they be not the people
of this country...?
I ask, who are the militia?  They consist of now
of the whole people,
except a few public officers."

If that paper on the table gets no alteration,
the militia of the future day may not consist of
all classes, high and low, and rich and poor..."

George Mason, Virginia Constitution Convention

----------

"Can the liberties of a nation be sure when we
remove their only firm basis, a conviction in the
minds of the people, that these liberties are a
gift from God?

Thomas Jefferson

--------

"The great object is that every man be armed.
Everyone who is able may have a gun."

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and
debasing degradation that we cannot be trusted
with arms for our defense? Where is the
difference between having our arms in
possession and under our direction, and having
them under the management of Congress? If
our defense be the real object of having those
arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with
more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our
own hands?"

Patrick Henry

--------

This will be the best security for maintaining
our liberties. A nation of well-informed men
who have been taught to know and prize the
rights which God has given them cannot be
enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that
tyranny begins.

Ben Franklin
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what  to have for lunch. Liberty is a
well-armed lamb  contesting the vote.

The picture you see here was painted to recall
that winter of 1777-78, at the lowest, most
hopeless and discouraging time in our
revolutionary war. For the struggling
Americans had been defeated by the mighty
British army in battle after battle, and were
fast losing all hope. It was at such a time that
General Washington humbly beseeched his
God for the strength and the resolution to
endure.
